Boquete was quit nice in the end. Watched the boxfight between Burbank (USA) vs. Trinidad (Puerto Rico) in the discoteq from the hotel. It was packed with locals. Had flashbacks from my youth watching Ali vs. Foreman in the early seventees. Had to get up early in the morning (european time) to see the fight. Now I was in the same timezone to see it. Was weird. Later some  dancing. The other morning happy to see a blue sky outside. So, we took a get to put us near a trail (7 km) towards a location near waterfalls and Quettzals… they are some very special kind a birds, seen only in Panama and Costa Rica. Spotted some of them, as well a gordeldier… The last walk through a rainforest was quit nice, more wilderness then we have experienced be4. Got bitten more than be4. On the way back, a huge rainshower… luckely the cab for the way back arrived at time. The afternoon spend walking throught the village Boquete… took some great pics.. sky was ggreat… I took more than 500 pics the last weeks, very happy with my digital Ixus. This morning we had to leave Boquete back to San Jose. Got up around 5:30, and left at 6:15. Saw sunrise through the Panamese landscape… The border between Panama and Costa Rica was another experience. We took the Interamerican this time. Some roadblocks to check, an nomans land zone with lots of taxfree shops. We were warned what we could expect, luckely it all went quickly.
Tomorrow we leave around 2 the hotel to head for the airport. Three houres check procedure.
Back to the real world in 1 or 2 days from now. Still unclear wehter we will fly through Miami, hope not…
