Arrived yesterday again at Schiphol Airport after a long flight from San Jose. Left 2 hours later as planned, a security check at the airport where they checked everything, altough they missed my scissors and razorblades in my cabin-luggage. Many travellers had to open their luggage and batteries and knives (swiss-army-knives) were taken away. The stop in Miami, where we had to leave the plane, pick up all our luggage, fill in all the papers for entering the USA, go through customs, have luggage checked, through customs again and back in the plane. As far as I heard, from no-one, the luggage was opened. I suppose, all these security checks are needed for now. Maybe its more an emotional security, you have the idea its more safe now… not. In Miami they also missd my scissors (I didn’t know I had these items  in my luggage, I only found out, once at home). Around 17:00 hrs I arrived at Amsterdam International Airport… tired.
Last one-and-a-half-day in San Jose was nice. Went immediately out after we arrived. Felt good to walk through the streets of this crowded city. I missed that feeling with lots of people around me, in the rainforests… The day of departure was spend mostly doing some shopping. Bought a cool Spiderman T-shirt and some coffee. A nice cappucino was taken at the Britt cafe at Teatro National. Here I had my first zipp of Costa Rico three and a half weeks ago too.

Now home and slept many hours. Will connect cam to puter soon and put pictures on puter (and web soon).
