Av. del Litoral is the coastal road that passes Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona.

The B-10, also known as Ronda Litoral or in English; the Coastal Ring Road, is a 20-kilometer freeway in Catalonia, Spain partially encircling Barcelona passing through the eastern side of the city. It starts at Nus de la Trinitat interchange in northern Barcelona and runs along the entire length of the Besòs River and the city’s coastline south to Nus del Llobregat interchange in Barcelona’s southern suburbs, where it becomes the Autovía A-2. Both north and south end interchanges link the freeway to the B-20 or Ronda de Dalt, which encircles Barcelona passing through the western side, jointly forming a beltway commonly referred to as the rondes that surrounds the city.

The freeway features a mix of below-grade, at-grade and covered tunnel sections, mainly as it passes through central Barcelona, where it is only two lanes in each direction while the other sections are three lanes. It becomes a segregated urban highway as it passes through central and northern Barcelona so that all its signposting becomes green and is maintained by local authorities. In contrast, the southern section of B-10 is considered to be part of European route E90 and is signposted in blue following the formal colour scheme for motorways since it serves as a continuation of the Autovía A-2. In addition, unlike the rest of the route, this section is named Cinturó Litoral and is maintained by the Spanish Government.

Port Fòrum with its great stairs is located at Moll de les Escaldes in Sant Adrià de Besòs, Barcelona.

The Parc del Fòrum is located on the waterfront at the northernmost end of the city. The park was built for the 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures. In 2004 Barcelona hosted the Universal Forum of Cultures, an unprecedented event which contributed to a dialogue about cultural diversity, sustainable development and the conditions for peace. The epicentre of this major gathering is now a reclaimed area of land by the sea where you’ll find: the Plaza and Esplanade which host trade fairs, music festivals and large-scale events; the triangular Forum Building, which has become the undisputed icon of Barcelona’s new architecture; the CCIB-Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona, one of the most modern conference facilities in Europe which can host up to 15,000 people; the Parc dels Auditoris, a large open-air space by the sea; and the spectacular Photovoltaic Cell, whose sloping structure is underpinned by a forest of columns and is a symbol of Barcelona’s commitment to sustainability and preserving the environment; the Forum Marina and bathing area, where we can soak up the most genuinely Mediterranean character of the city.

On the Wadden Island of Terschelling, in the village of West aan Zee, Achterbosch Zantman architects, hidden in the dune landscape, has realized a recreation house with a view of the North Sea. The basement is half hidden in the dune, so that the volume merges with the rolling landscape. The gable roof with overhangs is positioned parallel to the existing surrounding houses.

The interior is light and spacious because the living room is kept open over the full height. The atmosphere of the interior is determined by the large glass surfaces and the alternation of natural untreated wood and sleek white walls and ceilings. Natural light can be manipulated by opening or closing the slats. The slats prevent annoying sunlight. The large glass surfaces are glued over the corner under the overhangs and ensure an optimal experience of the surrounding dune landscape, the sky and the sea. A loft offers space for a quiet reading place and bookcase, like a crow’s nest overlooking the North Sea.

The construction consists of Syberian Larch trusses. Furthermore, the house is completely made of timber frame construction. Outer walls and roof are clad with western red cedar wooden parts that will age over time and thereby strengthen the uptake in the marram grass. At the location of the large glass roof surfaces, the wooden parts merge into movable slats which, in the closed position, disappear flat into the roof lining.

At the level of the basement there are 3 bedrooms, a storage room, bathroom and a toilet. This floor can optionally be used separately from the rooms above. On the ground floor there is the living and sleeping area with surrounding terraces for morning and evening sun.

Terschelling is a municipality and an island in the northern Netherlands, one of the West Frisian Islands. It is situated between the islands of Vlieland and Ameland.

Wadden Islanders are known for their resourcefulness in using anything and everything that washes ashore. With few trees to use for timber, most of the farms and barns are built with masts recovered from shipwrecks. The islands are surrounded by shipwrecks, and even today many containers wash ashore that are blown off the decks of container ships in the North Sea.

The main source of income on Terschelling is tourism. There is some agriculture, but a large part of the island has become a nature reserve.

Terschelling is well known for the yearly Oerol Festival during which theatre performances are played throughout the island, making use of its landscape and nature.

Terschelling can be reached by ferry from the mainland Frisian town Harlingen and from Vlieland by high-speed catamaran.

Kranen i Kville is located at Lundby Hamngata in Lundbyhamnen on Hisingen in Göteborg.

On behalf of the Port of Gothenburg, the post-war period was characterized by the expansion at Hisingen. First out of the new port sections was Lundbyhamnen, which was inaugurated in 1951. It was then a modern dry cargo port which, for example, had balconies on the shed (for loading goods directly on the right floor) and large berths for handling. The harbor was closed in 1989 and today there are areas for housing, education and high-tech companies as well as conference centers.

Södra Strandgatan is a road in Lycke, also known as country road 168.

Länsväg 168 runs between Kungälv and Marstrand in Bohuslän. Length 27 km.

The road goes through, among others, the communities of Ytterby, Kroken and the resorts Vävra, Risby, Guddeby, Tjuvkil and ends at Koön in Marstrand. The road connects to the E6 at Kungälv. The central part of Marstrand is located on an island, the island of Marstrand, and there you take a ferry that takes passengers and in exceptional cases cars.

The road is narrow and crooked and has many exits. This, together with high speeds and relatively high traffic, make the road accident-prone. In 2007, the Swedish Road Administration set up a number of speed cameras along the route. The nearest 2 km from the E6 has four lanes with traffic light intersections. Along road 168 there is a relatively large bridge, Instöbron, length 510 m with a sail-free height of 18 m.

The road was given the number 168 in the 1980s, and before that it had no signposted number. The bridge was opened for traffic in 1991 and replaced a ferry route on the route.

Instöbron or Instöbridge is a bridge connecting Vrångholmen and Instön near Marstrand in Kungälv Kommun, north of Göteborg, Sweden.

Instön is an island near Marstrand in Bohuslän. The name refers to that Instön is the innermost of the major Marstrand Islands. The area is 3.6 square kilometers. The settlement on the island was burned during the war in 1658 by the Danes.

Instön is today an area with mainly holiday home construction, but some conversion to permanent housing has taken place. A municipal water pipeline is located past south of Instön on the way out to Koön and Marstrand. The southern part of Instön is connected to this line.

Between Koön and Instön, in Mittsund, during the herring periods, there were herring salts and cranberries. Now only certain house grounds remain as memories from this important economic greatness for Sweden. At most, over 600 people learn to have been active in the herring salt industry.

The Instö bridge was built in 1991 and connects the two islands of Vrångholmen and Instön. The bridge then replaced the ferry and gave the Marstrand residents a permanent land connection. The bridge is 510m long built in six spans of different lengths. The bridge is built in reinforced concrete and is of the type console-built box beam bridge.

Hedvigsholmen is a fortified islet in Marstrand harbor. It was originally called Fiskholmen but was named Hedvigsholmen a few years after Bohuslän became Swedish (1658), and was later also called Kvarnholmen.

The Fiskholmsskansen was a masonry redutt , which the Danes started to build but had not completed when Bohuslän became Swedish in 1658, Wämschiöldh then allowed the building to continue under Swedish auspices.

The fort was reinforced and expanded during the 1660s, and at the outbreak of the war with Denmark in 1675, Hedvigsholm’s fortress consisted of a walled redout in the middle of Hedvigsholmen and a barrier with stone chest guard on the western cape. When Marstrand was attacked by Ulrik Frederik Gyldenløve in 1677, Hedvigsholmen was defended by the only 60-strong crew July 6-15 with excellent bravery. First under Lieutenant Colonel Andreas Björnsköld, then under Major Stark, who was forced to evacuate the fortifications without, as he intended, succeeding in blasting them into the air. Gyldenlöve strengthened the defense works. After the end of peace (1679), the stone retreat was restored after drawing by David Lydinghielm ; but in 1693 the “absolutely unnecessary” fortifications began to be demolished.

During the last Danish war of Karl XII, however, they were restored to the best of their ability. At Peder Tordenskjold’s attack on Marstrand on July 22, 1719, they were evacuated by the crew (12 men and one sub-officer) after the guns were destroyed. Tordenskjold gave Hedvigsholmen the name Charlottenholm. After the end of the peace (1720), the name Hedvigsholmen was taken back, but the fortifications were left to their fate. However, some remains of them are still visible.

Marstrands Varv at Varvskajen is located on Hedvigsholmen near Marstrand in Kungälv, Sweden.

Marstrand’s Mechanical Workshop , was a shipyard at Hedvigsholmen in Marstrand, which was built as a repair yard at the end of the 19th century, with corporation formation in 1904, by August Andersson and Bertil Egnell (1878–1956).

The company’s operations included repairs and maintenance of smaller vessels and the manufacture of copper paint. The company also had an agreement with AB JV Svenssons Motorfabrik in Stockholm on the sale of the Avance crude oil engine in southern Sweden.

It was renamed Marstrandsverken in 1964, with new owners and went bankrupt in 1967. It was then taken over by the Mattssongruppen in Uddevalla, which operated the boat production with entire vessels and ship sections (stays) to larger vessels until 1991 under the name FEAB Marstrandsverken. One of the largest newbuilding projects was the Ro-Pax ferry Saga Star in 1981, for which the Marstrandsverken built the bar and Kalmar ship the stern, after which the vessel was finally mounted at Eriksberg’s Mechanical Workshop in Gothenburg.

In 1991, the company was closed down.
